A Time of Serious Fun!

A night of Serious Fun

With Ed Handkins

Ed shared stories of his past, his present, and some with no truth whatsoever. We laughed all night long. The principles presented were very poignant. Each story carried a lesson. Each story touched the lives of all in attendance. Biblical truths were weaved throughout the night. In the end, Ed challenged us with regard to our relationship with Jesus Christ. You can hear a serious sermon any time you want. You will not have a “night of Serious Fun” any time you want.

Ed Handkins is worthy of your time and attention. We flew him 1000 miles to attend our meeting. We would do it again.

Thank Ed, you’re a peach!

"After serving as Pastor of six churches for twenty-five years (see below) I had the privledge of serving as the Director of Missions (DOM) for the Quad-Cities Area Baptist Association and the Sinnissippi Baptist Association, both in Northwest Illinois.  I then had the privledge of serving the entire state of Illinois on the as "Director of Anglo New Work" for the Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA).  While serving as DOM and later on the state staff I was an appointed missionary of the North Amreican Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention.  I retired from NAMB and IBSA in 2005 but remain very acvtive in ministry. I am now serving as pastor of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.

My personal mission statement is to "Strengthen Chruches & Extend the Kingdom."  My goal is to help churches grow in number and in health while doing all I can to extend the Kingdom of God to every part of the earth.
